“American visual artists David Carlson and Betsy Stewart and Egyptian
composer Ashraf Fouad create seamless meditation on the world as it could
be: contemplative and focused on the essence of life. Their video and sound
project, “Watering”, flows dreamily through three sonata-like
movements: “approach:, “encounter” and “drift”.
The work invokes our association with water as the basis of life and calls
attention to how disconnected we’ve become from our vital liquid
environment. “Watering” presents a unified view of the world
that invites our total immersion”

Hart & Vera Scekic, curators
