The
Fontis Series is a continuing work-in-progress created to be
showcased as a single piece or in groupings from a single pair to upwards
of 36 as in (Image 1) "Installation", 60x 60 inches exhibited at the
Pretoria Art Museum, South Africa (2005), Tadu Contemporary Art, Santa
Fe, NM (2006) and Wichita Falls Museum of Art, Wichita Falls, TX (2006).
Each is created as both a painting and sculpture as every work stands
5 inches from the wall. On one side is a geometric pattern that translates
to the scientific world of mathematical theories that underlines all
living organisms. The front view shows microscopic creatures in brilliant
jewel tones choreographed to the rhythms of nature. Please inquire about
availability of specific pieces.
